Our Story

Shivuren was born from a vision to create a sanctuary where the complementary practices of Pilates and Yoga could flourish together. Founded in Stockholm in 2018 by Elsa Bergström, a former professional dancer who discovered the transformative power of these disciplines during her own recovery from injury.

What began as a small studio with just three instructors has evolved into a thriving wellness community, dedicated to helping people discover the unique benefits of both practices and how they can work in harmony.

2018

The Beginning

Elsa Bergström opens the first Shivuren studio in a small space in central Stockholm, offering a handful of classes combining Pilates and Yoga principles.

2019

Growing Community

As word spreads, Shivuren expands its team to include specialists from both Pilates and Yoga backgrounds, developing our signature Mind-Body Fusion method.

2021

New Home

Shivuren moves to our current location on Sveavägen, a spacious studio designed to embody our philosophy of integration, harmony, and mindfulness.

2023

Expanding Our Offering

Launch of our curated product line and specialized programs to help practitioners deepen their practice both in the studio and at home.
